
Providing more than 550 job opportunities Musalam bin Ham opens the “Zaman Shopping Tent” branch in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Musalam bin Ham Al Ameri, Chairman of the Bin Ham Group, inaugurated the fourth branch of the “Zaman Shopping Tent” chain in Mohammed bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, yesterday evening. The opening was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Musalam bin Ham, Sheikh Rashid bin Musalam bin Ham, and Mr. Mahboob Omar bin Al Naqsh, Director of “Zaman Shopping Tent,” along with a number of prominent figures and businessmen.
This new branch is the fourth, following successful branches in Dubai, Al Ain, and Ras Al Khaimah. Its opening is part of the group’s strategic expansion plans to enhance its role in supporting the national economy and providing distinguished family shopping destinations.
The new center extends over an area of more than 25,000 square feet, spread over three floors, and includes 250 diverse departments, including clothing, perfumes, electronic devices, household appliances, cosmetics, food products, toys, gifts, and fabrics, in addition to departments for handicrafts and products from productive families. It has also provided more than 550 job opportunities, contributing to Emiratization and community development efforts. During the opening tour, Sheikh Muslim bin Ham expressed his pride in the project’s progress, emphasizing that the Zaman Shopping Tent has become a comprehensive economic and cultural platform that reflects the diversity and richness of the UAE’s society, offering a unique experience that blends shopping, entertainment, and education. For his part, Mr. Mahboob bin Al Naqsh, Market Manager, explained that the Abu Dhabi branch represents a qualitative addition to the emirate’s commercial landscape. He noted that the market includes numerous events and services that go beyond the traditional concept of shopping, including entertainment, cultural, and educational shows, various competitions, exhibitions of handicrafts, traditional perfumes, and incense, as well as modern women’s clothing, cosmetics, leather products, abayas, shaylas, and all household needs. Additionally, a nursery sells various types of agricultural plants and flowers, providing visitors with a comprehensive and integrated experience.
